In fact, it's a tiny one square kilometre of an extinct volcano where the gem has been discovered. As you can imagine, it's becoming rarer and rarer.
The beauty of Larimar is the colour variations in every piece, with blues, white even sandy brown rippling through, all of the colours of the sea. No two pieces are ever the same.
The gem is 7 MM diameter and the total face of the earring is 9 MM making them the perfect addition for any occasion.
